TriSum
Personal project
Logic puzzle game
TriSum started with the idea of creating an auto-generated puzzle game inspired by the success of 2048.
Concept
After brainstorming, I landed on a concept similar to Tic-Tac-Toe, but with evolving pieces. I decided to use numbers, which added a unique visual appeal and complexity.
Development
Designed and developed by me in Unity, the game features minimalistic design to make it easily accessible to a wide audience.
Gameplay
In each round, a random number is presented, and the player must place it on the grid, making every game feel fresh and challenging. If the player is unable to place a piece on the grid, the game is lost.
Strategic Elements
Additionally, players can use an outer ring to discard unwanted pieces, strategically forming three-in-a-row combinations and adding a new layer of depth to the gameplay. This ring can’t be used twice in a row, introducing an element of management and strategy for the player. It provides more variety of options and reduces reliance on luck.
