Tiny Rol
Master’s thesis project
Conceptual RPG
Tiny Rol is a prototype RPG designed to offer players a direct, accessible role-playing experience, simplifying the genre’s complexities for a broader audience. Created as a master’s thesis project, the game distills classic RPG mechanics into an engaging structure of short, standalone levels where players must make impactful choices. Each level can be completed using one of three approaches —combat, stealth, or eloquence— and these choices influence character stats and the unfolding of each level.

Designed and developed by me in Unity for PC, Tiny Rol combines the essential elements of traditional RPGs while streamlining them for quick, meaningful gameplay. Built with a combination of waterfall and prototyping methodologies, the project established the core mechanics of the game, achieving much of its initial vision despite resource and time limitations. Tiny Rol serves as a foundation for a larger project, presenting a fresh, condensed take on the RPG genre.
